I hope all has been well and I also hope everybody had a great holiday weekend.

Just want to share some sketches, spring, and other fun stuff.

On the way to Miami I saw a really attractive man , his face never left my mind so I decided to illustrate him ^___^

It was Easter weekend, I ate really well and made Easter cups for my niece and nephews

I returned home from my trip to Miami , it was amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer.

This was my first plane ride by the way so I kept my pretzel bag lol

Hello All :)

First of all I would like to say thank you to all of the people who support me and my work , it means so much to me and the love and support that I have received in the recent months has been overwhelming and I truly appreciate it.

I normally do not post tl;dr text entries to this account but I felt the need to do so after a minor argument I got into because somebody did like my interpretation of a famous character so I feel like I need to clear a few things up.

I draw from my heart, I have been doing so for many years and that will never change . Trust me I do not claim to be the best in the world and I do not try to put my fellow artists down. I received really tasteless feedback on of my illustrations here on my sketch blog , this was not a critique this was just a bitter person being rude for no reason. I responded to this person and I did not hear a thing for about 2 weeks so I thought it was all over until they did it again except this time they had a new argument and claimed they were upset because I was “objectifying” a female character.

I am still not sure whether or not this person was joking or but if they were being serious then that was a bad case of reaching. Below you can see the illustration that caused this mini ruckus.

As a growing artist I can admit that my execution obviously needs work but that is really not the point at the moment.

I had never been fond of this character which is why I felt like it would be a good challenge to illustrate her so I went for it.

Wonder Woman does show a good amount of skin which btw does not have to be a bad thing , I feel like her character design is sexy yet simple and tasteful.

I am not at the level of the artists mentioned above and also every artist has a different way of executing his or her work. My version is rather voluptous and I do not see the issue here because voluptous women do exist whether you like it or not. I will not pretend like the comic book industry is cake and rainbows as far as females are concerned , but I think things can be easily blown out of proportion and this situation is a good example. I could understand if she was borderline nude and engaging in extremely provocative acts but that is clearly not the case. If you are seeing something that is not there I am sorry but that is not my problem, and I would like to ask if this is too “provactive” then help me out and tell me how I should have illustrated her.

Yes I drew Wonder Woman with some breasts and booty , why is that an issue? Wonder Woman has and always will be an iconic character and an important representative of the girl power movement , this harmless take on her will never change that. The fact is that women can be sexy and empowering at the same time. I cannot speak for other artists I can only speak for myself and I will say that I cannot control what goes on in the mind of a male and I will not allow there way of thinking to dictate my artwork because people in general drool over the most random things you can imagine. I do not care that much about Wonder Woman to turn her into a piece of meat.

Before I wrap this up I would just like to ask visitors to respect my blog and refrain from the nonsense. If you would like to address something please come correct and act like your parents taught you some manners.

Just a mini round up of some of my recent work :)

Wanted to do something without copics for a change, I used pentel markers, crayola markers, and memento stamps.

I think Charles Schulz is the man , I have nothing but respect for him.

For those of you who don’t know Oswald is the Mickey Mouse prototype, this is my take on him.

This is tonight’s dinner , ham , turkey, and cheese sandwich with lettuce pepper and mustard with some vintage orange cream soda courtesy of Trader Joe’s.

So this weekend I was supposed to have a  Dragon Ball Z gathering but my niece and nephews were unable to attend so I had to postpone, however I did move forward with the cake and cookies I was supposed to bake.

Please do not laugh @ my cake and cookies lol, they are on the sloppy side.

So my original plan was to make a four star Dragon Ball cake and Namekian cookies which would have been green sugar cookies with strawberry frosting on top but the supermarket had no sugar cookies -___- so I came up with something else creative.

What you see above are chocolate chip cookies with green food coloring.

I took a picture of this because it looks like a big cheeseburge lol, but it is a devil food cake with butter frosting that I had to add a little coloring to in order to make it look like a Dragon Ball.

TADA!!! So instead of Namekian cookies I made Shenron drizzle cookies , the red gummi bears are supposed to be his red eyes muwahahaha, and there is my awkward looking Courage cake, I used airhead candy to make the stars…if that is what you want to call them lol.

Bonus!!! This little guy followed me to the store lol <3

These are all of my Dragon Ball Z boxsets, I am missing Season 1 because I let my brother borrow it for the weekend, I own Season 4 twice because I thought I lost the first boxset and it has my favorite saga so I just purchased it again.

Look it is four of my favorite guys :D Trunks, Ken Masters, Michael Jackson, and Proto Man.

Last but not least my Valentine’s Day teasers :) I finished both pictures about 45 minutes ago.
