My personal life is eating me alive at the moment.
I hope to be back soon ^__^ love you all <3
Art Block is (obviously) a mental difficulty. It has a tendencey to spring out at the best of us when we least expect it. Professional artists are well aware of its existence.
But professional artists depend on their ability to produce work every day. Art block…
Ducktales WooHoo !
After Capcom announced they were remaking the classic NES game I got all nostalgic and said why not.
I am not very good at anthro but its good practice and I need to show more love to Disney characters anyways.
Such a classic series and I am sure any 80s / 90s kid would agree.
Number 9

After countless attempts I finally produced a Ricky Rubio piece that I am somewhat satisfied with.
This was a traditional piece but I added digital effects to make him seem more powerful because he is indeed a powerful and strong player.
I always wanted to illustrate him because he has really big and strong eyes ( also a lovely smile ).
I hope I did a good enough job on this ^___^ I hope to improve with the next piece.
Anonymous asked: Hey sugarplum! I'm a HUGE fan of your art and I'm a writer. I always wanted to do a comic but I can't draw. Just wondering, Are you willing to do art for a web comic? You can charge of course!
Hello ! Thank you for the kind words and I am glad you enjoy my work :)
I have never really done a full comic book before so that would be something new for me . Also I am a traditional artist so I am not sure how you would feel about that :)
So y’all are now aware of my crush on Ricky Rubio haha, I honestly think he is the most attractive guy in the NBA ( wait he is tied with Chris Paul )
So I took a shot at him because his face is so beautiful … I think I bishified him too much here lol.
I was going to leave out his facial hair but I decided not to because that is what he is sporting at the moment so I rode with that.
I will have to try this again , I’m not all that satisfied but I spent so much time on this lol I had to post it.
One more before bed.
I am determined to get better with Sharpie Markers. Once again I had to use two copic markers because Sharpie doesn’t have many skin tone colors to choose from but since they stepped up their game I have become more interested in their products .
So it’s the wonderful Mina Aino :) this was just a test for color because I need to know what I can do with these markers.
I had an interesting dream recently where I was on a train ride with a bunch of spaniard siblings hahaha so I decided to actually get them down on paper because I am more than likely going to create a story based on the dream I had ( I do that often haha )
I remember one of the men resembled Tuki Brando ( I don’t look at pictures of him every second of the day I swear lol !!! ) so if you are familiar with him you will probably see the inspiration . I couldn’t remember what the other guys looked like so I looked straight to basketball Ricky Rubio for inspiration because he has such a wonderful face and I am also a fan of his ^__^
I recently purchased some sharpie brush tip markers because my goal is to be able to use different mediums and still keep a distinct style so I mostly used those markers with maybe one or two copic markers.
Please enjoy this concept art and thank you all for supporting me in my journey :)
